Kurutepe, a shantyhouse town comes face to face to luxury structurings as the centeral circle of Istanbul expands. The ivy-mantled stone wall of TepeCountry villa estates is raised as a border between two entirely different living. Two seperate groups of youngsters who were living without even knowing each other come across in the sequel of a car accident.

Although it was a short lived series, Duvar had a specific audience vardı. It was to first production probing street culture and underground lives in metropols. It hosted street set up rappers such as Fuat and got credits with its music by Bolahenk and Ceza. I wrote the episode stories and script outline with a friend.

Bir gecekondu semti olan Kurutepe, Istanbul’da merkez çember genişledikçe lüks yapılaşmalarla burun buruna gelir. TepeCountry adlı villa sitenin taştan, sarmaşıklı, yüksek duvarı bambaşka iki dünyanın sınırı olur. O güne değin birbirlerini tanımadan ve umursamadan yaşayan tamamen farklı iki grup genç bir kaza neticesinde bir araya geliyorlar. 

Kısa ömürlü bir dizi olmasına rağmen, Duvar’ın kendine has bir kitlesi vardı. Apaçi tabir edilen gençleri, hip hop metropollerini irdeleyen ilk yapımdı. Fuat gibi sokaktan yetişme rapçileri konuk etti. Bolahenk ve Ceza’nın müzikleriyle de beğeni topladı. Dizinin bölüm öykülerini ve tretmanlarını yazmıştım.
